Christmas stamp wars

Ma Beck, over at Ward Wide Web has posted a picture of the Christmas stamps released by the US Postal service. As you can see, they are even worse than ours:

However, John Hudson reports in the combox that Canada has a Madonna and Child picture on its Christmas stamp. I found a picture:

Now that's a bit better, isn't it? The Canada Post description:

BTW you read correctly: "stamp" - Canada has one of the lowest domestic postal rates for industrialiased countries - 51c (= about 23p) for up to 30g.
